The problem
Every trader knows what they did. Almost no trader knows why — what emotion, what bias, what story they told themselves. Existing journals (Edgewonk, Tradervue) track P&L. The behavior that compounds losses goes uncaptured.
Why now
I lost more money to revenge trades than to bad analysis. The alpha isn't in better setups — it's in not taking the bad ones. TraderMind is built around behavioral edge instead of P&L attribution.
Why I'm building this
TraderMind started as my own spreadsheet. After three years trading equities and FX, I realized the metric I needed wasn't 'win rate' — it was 'how often did I follow my own rules?' That's the Discipline Score. It's the only number that, when it moves, your P&L moves with it. TraderMind is the journal I would have paid for in year one.
